Social Connections
Social Connection is a free, friendly service with a focus on facilitating and empowering lonely older people to engage with activities and events
in their local commuity in a way that suits them.
Barriers that can prevent you from connecting:
- loss of confidence
- grief
- health
- transportation
- new to the area
- Covid
Taking part in social activities is shown to improve our wellbeing in later life. 
We can help you access:
- social activities
- clubs and groups
- transport ( bus srvices, taxis - Total Mobility Scheme)
- staying active - exercise groups
